Nestled in the Japan Alps Nozawa is a magical place steeped in culture and with some terrific skiing and boarding. Nagano was home to the Winter Olympics in 1998. Nozawa Onsen is a very traditional town with beautiful hot springs, friendly locals, and terrific snow. Lodge Nagano is only 100 m from the slopes Summer is also a great time to visit. Nozawa due to its elevation is cool all year. You can get into mountain biking, paragliding, white water rafting, fishing and some of the best hiking in Japan. Autumn is also a wonderful time to be outdoors and take in the magic colors nature provides. The onsens are open to enjoy all year round and some beautiful water falls

  • Getting TherePlane From Australia it is an 8-hour Flight, Hong Kong 4 hours, Singapore 6 Hours Europe 15 hours to the nearest International Airports of Tokyo or Nagoya Shuttle Bus There is a great shuttle bus service from both Tokyo and Nagoya Airports that will pick you up at the airport and drop you at our door approximately 5 hours. Only 9000 yen per person. It doesn't get any easier Train From anywhere in Japan you can get the Bullet Train to Nagano City then change to the Iiyama Line to Togari Nozawa Onsen Station. We can pick you up from there or it is a short bus ride to the Village Bus There are a number of overnight and day buses from most major Japanese cities from about 4000 yen per person Car Nearest Expressway is Joshinetsu and nearest national road is Route 117 For any more information on how to get to us please ask
