If you start from Hachimantai Onsen Village and, via Matsukawa Onsen, head in the direction of the Hachimantai summit by taking the Jukai Line, you'll reach Toshichi Onsen. Located 1,400 meters above sea level, this hotel is among the highest in Tohoku. If you take the Aspite Line from Hachimantai Onsen Village, you can easily find the Hachimantai Onsen Hotel. But those without overnight accommodations needn't go without. The Green Spa is equipped with an open-air bath, as well.
