After wakeboarding on <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">Lake</st1:placetype> <st1:placename w:st="on">Hamanaka</st1:placename></st1:place>  and seeing kiteboarding pioneer, Lou Wainman take flight in a video, he  got inspired. Since then he has dedicated himself to offering safe,  quality kiteboarding instruction to get more people off the ground  (literally). <b style="">Kiteboarding Japan </b>offers the two-day &ldquo;Hang  Time&rdquo; course, where students first learn to control and fly a kite on  land with a mountain board and then hit the water on Day 2. Nick is the  first and only instructor in <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Japan</st1:place></st1:country-region> qualified by the  International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO) and by the (JKBA) Japanese  Kiteboarding Association. Lessons are taught in English and Japanese,  and there is an online pro shop.
