A long winter staying indoors can certainly lead to a few extra kilos around the mid section!

Here is a simple abdominal routine you can do first thing when you wake up. Do this everyday and watch the mid section naturally slim down!
Take a big breath and stretch your arms and legs away from your torso.

This is a great way to wake up in the morning and you can easily do this routine in bed.
Breathing out, bring your knee to your chest. Try to make the movements match the length of the breath. Hold this position for three breaths.
On the last out breath, slowly bring your forehead to your knee. Concentrate on your abdominal zone as you take another three deep breaths.

With an out breath, release and let down your head. Now straighten your leg and hold on to the back of the knee or calf. Again, breathe out bringing your head towards your knee and hold for three breaths.

Repeat on the opposite leg. Three sets of this routine in the morning will have you jumping out of bed instead of crawling!
